Written by Evgeniia Shakirova, ME GOODY Sales and Outreach Intern At ME GOODY Space, we occasionally open our first floor to creatives who want to host workshops, performances, and community sessions. Over the past month, our space near ICON SIAM welcomed a variety of activities: the “Film and Flower” bouquet-making workshop in early October, a live music performance by the artist collective PRAA during the Breathe Exhibition, and later in the month a cozy “Float and Found” D.I.Y. keychain workshop. Each event brought its own energy and audience, showing how flexible and welcoming the ME GOODY creative space can be. Shots from the live music performance by the artist collective PRAA What makes the first floor special is its ability to adapt to different formats. For the flower bouquet workshop and the D.I.Y. keychain session, the room was arranged with tables and chairs, creating a calm and friendly environment where participants could chat, laugh, and easily get to know one another. For the live performance, the space was completely cleared–transforming it into an open stage where music and movement filled the room. This change shifted the entire atmosphere: instead of quiet conversation, the audience’s attention was fully focused on the performers, creating a shared moment of concentration and artistic excitement. Float & Found. D.I.Y keychain workshop The second floor also recently proved its versatility during the improv.exercise session. To prepare the space, we moved some furniture aside to create an open area for movement and group activities. The second floor’s warm lighting, intimate layout, and cozy interior helped participants feel safe enough to step outside their comfort zones – an essential part of any improvisation workshop. For many, the room itself contributed to a sense of trust and openness, allowing them to explore new sides of themselves. Yes, and to Life: Improv.Practice. Second Floor of ME GOODY space These events remind us of why ME GOODY exists as a community-driven creative hub in Bangkok: to offer a flexible, personal, and inspiring venue for people to explore their craft, connect with others, and bring new ideas to life. Whether it’s a workshop, a performance, or an interactive session, our space near ICON SIAM is always ready to adjust and support your vision. If you’re looking for a welcoming workshop space or a cozy event venue in Bangkok, we would be delighted to host your next gathering. Inquiry about ME GOODY Space: Space Rental

Written by Evgeniia Shakirova, ME GOODY Sales and Outreach Intern This November ME GOODY hosted another FirstLight Film Screening session. Each First Light Film Screening session is an intimate micro-cinema experience dedicated to showcasing emerging and independent filmmakers from Thailand and beyond. Each gathering highlights creative voices that are still growing, experimenting, and discovering their style. This month’s session featured five short films: Never Again by Kyle K., Ann Be Cloud by Thanakorn Yangmeesuk, A-Phet Species by Panitarn Boontarig, Bangkok in Reality by Nathaphol Makaraphong, and Echoes of the Past by Phan Thanh Trung.
After the screening, we continued with an open discussion – a core tradition of FirstLight. This month, the conversation resonated deeply with MEGOODY’s November theme: “How do I grow when life gets tough?” Participants shared reflections on the challenges emerging filmmakers face, from limited budgets to creative blocks, from navigating self-doubt to learning how to tell honest stories in a competitive industry. Many spoke about resilience, community support, and the importance of making art even when circumstances feel unclear. It was a thoughtful exchange that reminded all of us how growth often happens quietly, in between moments of uncertainty. We’re grateful for everyone who joined this session and contributed to the dialogue. FirstLight continues to evolve as one of ME GOODY’s most meaningful monthly events – a place for storytelling, creativity, and genuine connection. If you’re interested in independent cinema, collaborative conversations, or simply being part of a warm and welcoming creative space in Bangkok, we invite you to join us for the next session. Inquiry about ME GOODY Space: Space Rental Written by Evgeniia Shakirova, ME GOODY Sales and Outreach Intern Recently, ME GOODY Space had the opportunity to host the Breathe Exhibition – a collaborative showcase dedicated to sustainability, environmental awareness, and human connection with nature. The exhibition invited visitors to “explore and connect with the stories and experiences of nature through a variety of experimental art forms,” bringing together the works of eight independent artists. Each artist approached the theme differently: some focused on texture and material, others on storytelling or abstraction. Together, their works opened up a conversation about how we relate to the natural world. The transformation of the space was especially meaningful to witness. Our third and fourth floors, often open and minimal, became vivid and full of character once the exhibition was installed. We captured a few “before and after” moments: the empty corners, the clean white walls, and the quiet stillness of the room before the art arrived. Once the artworks were installed, those same corners became warm, expressive, and full of narrative. The pieces did not just decorate the space; they changed the feeling of being inside it. What was once minimal became meaningful. The exhibition also reshaped the way we used our first floor. Typically a co-working area, it transformed into a small performance stage, hosting an experimental art and music session led by a Thai group of creatives. As someone who plays several musical instruments and spent years in a music-centered community, I was personally curious to see how sound, art, and the room itself would interact. The performance felt spontaneous yet intentional – a moment where space, people, and artistic expression aligned. During the event, we welcomed people from different creative communities. Many shared that the space felt calming, warm, and cozy. Some stayed for long conversations, others walked around slowly, pausing to look and return to certain works again. It was a reminder that art is not only something to be seen, but something to experience. We look forward to hosting more exhibitions, installations, and creative gatherings in ME GOODY Space. Our space is flexible, personal, and always ready to be reimagined. If you’re an artist or creator seeking a place where your work can speak and be felt – we would be happy to welcome you. Let’s create something together. Inquiry about ME GOODY Space: Space Rental |
